Now that my wife and I are back in the UK after our trip around New Zealand a quick word to say how pleased we were with the car we hired from you from 9th to 23rd February. Your company had been recommended to us by a village friend who warned us not to expect a new car so I wasn't too surprised to see that mileage on it of 140,000 KM, to which we added another 3,000 !!! But the car ran superbly, was just what we wanted and although I was worried about an automatic we had no trouble with it and indeed I found myself struggling with my own geared car on the journey home from London Airport !!! Good value for money, delivery at the Auckland hotel as arranged, Wellington / Picton ferry organised and booked - if anyone asks us back here for a good reasonably priced Car Hire firm in New Zealand we shan't hesitate to say GO RENTALS 1. We recieved our beautiful vehicle @ the Auckland airport as promised. Beautiful Previa Van. Wonderful condition and absolutely perfect for our 2 week holiday that ended all too soon. We thought we were so posh and so did the rellies. We went home for my brothers wedding and the van was used as the bridal car, how cool.
You also had a bunch of leaflets and booklets on all differents sites and tours of NZ and maps etc. How awesome. Sorry we ended up taking those home for souvenairs to show the Aussies as we did visit a few of the places in some of the brochures you left in the car for us. Hope that was ok?
We have absolutely nothing but praise for GO Rentals. I have given your web site details out to my family as we have 5 teenagers @ boarding school in NZ that travel every hol's back to Oz so if any of the parents need a vehicle they can call on GO Rentals. We booked everything on the net it was so easy.

Just wanted to say thank you for making the car rental so easy and efficient. We flew into Wellington very late at night (28 March) and left very early in the morning (6 April), and the convenience of being able to pick up and drop the car back at Wellington Airport was excellent.

Our car hire from Go Rentals in August 2006 was superb! Easy to arrange online with prompt attention to details, booking of the ferry crossing and email confirmation. The car was at the Auckland airport with all requested extras (chains, ski rack, maps) as we had arranged. This late model all wheel drive Honda CRV was in excellent operating condition and performed perfectly. We left the car at the Christchurch airport as arranged. The total cost was very competitve and typically lower than many of the other rental companies. Their efficient service and flexibility in arrangements really suited our travel needs. Even the chains were the heavy duty, easy to put on type! All in all, I've never had an easier and such a 'hassle free' rental car for a ski holiday. James, When a customer receives unsatisfactory service the first thing they do is contact the managers and go on and on about the terrible service they had just received and vow that they will never deal with the company again. Well in my case it is just the opposite. Let me start at the beginning. A few months ago after I had booked with Go Rentals for our trip to New Zealand I received a survey. Shortly after filling this in I received an e mail from Mereana thanking me for taking the time and at the same time offering a further discount on my forthcoming rental. Today I wondered if Go Rentals would be in the position to assist me in booking a passage from the South island to the North island. I sent an e mail again to Mereana this afternoon and asked her if this would be possible. Within minutes I received her reply and we went back and forth a few times until we agreed on the time. Unfortunately the special price was only available if booked in either New Zealand or Australia. As we only arrive on the 3rd February I was not entitled to this special price. Mereana offered to book this special fare for me and within minutes again I received confirmation of passage. During my years running a major oil company in Canada I found customers were never prepared to let me know when my staff went out of their way to do things they too only let me know when they were not happy with the service they had received. I cannot tell you how impressed I have been with Mereana and her service which reflects directly on Go Rentals. I will continue telling all our friends of the wonderful service on gets by booking through Go Rentals. regards,

"The joys & disappointments of renting a car, going straight to the big companies in Auckland airport I soon realised this wasn’t going to be easy, spending 2 hours there & no one had a car for 5 weeks & really couldn’t be bothered & seeing one of there customers get told off I decided to ring around. That’s when my luck changed, I rang GO rentals & spoke to the assistant manager Jo, she told me the only car available was the oldest in their fleet a Nissan Pulsar & I could have it at a good rate. Not knowing if the car would be ok I went to see it. It was spotless, I jumped at the chance.& it was delivered at my hotel on time the next morning with maps, it was perfect in every way. we did 3630 kilometers averaging 51 miles per gallon. The car never missed a beat, on our return it was so easy as they are only 200 meters off the motorway, then I got to meet the great team Plus manager James Dalglish & Owner John Osborne two of the nicest friendliest people you would ever meet. My advice to anyone going to New Zealand don’t waste your time going to others go to the best, you wont be disappointed with Go Rentals. Thanks James & John you made our holiday."

Halfway our holiday we -Stupid Duchmen- lost the key from our rental, and we were searching the house for it with 4-5 people for 2 days long. We were not able to find it. Desperate as we felt, we called you, and had a spare key in our mail within two days. Fortunally we stayed with family in New Zealand so it had no bad effect on our stay. It was with much intrepidation that I arrived late at Wellington airport fairly close to midnight, and after getting hold of a security guard we located the keys at the ANZ counter which was of course unattented. Time was very critical for me as I was going to see my two children aged 12 and 13 after 18 months of separation brought on by a protracted divorce.
