According to the Beervana website, “Beervana is a mind-bending, palate expanding Beer wonderland. From outrageous brewery displays to the best culinary bites, from exciting live music to weird street performances, there’s something new to discover around every corner and Sky Stadium is one big corner!”

All we know is that Beervana is one of New Zealand’s most beloved beer festivals and this year, it is returning for its 21st iteration on 19-20 August.

Beervana is a true celebration of craft beer here in New Zealand and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever. With more local, regional, national and international brewers than ever before, it’s the perfect chance to sample some of the best beers on offer here in New Zealand.

2. BAY OF ISLANDS JAZZ & BLUES FESTIVAL 2022

The Bay of Islands Jazz and Blues Festival features good music and friendship in the stunning setting of the Bay of Islands of New Zealand – one of the top tourist spots of the country. Each year the festival features more than 40 acts performing at multiple venues. Street music in Paihia and Russell also gives you a chance to enjoy the music as you dine at a nearby café or join in some dancing.

The annual festival is a great opportunity to head up and explore this beautiful part of New Zealand as well as listen to some of the best jazz and blues musicians in the country. The festival is held in multiple venues throughout the Bay of Islands over the weekend of 12-14 August and there are a number of supporting hotels and motels in the area.

3. CHRIS ROCK EGO DEATH TOUR

Grammy & Emmy Award-winning comedian, actor, director, writer and producer, Chris Rock, has announced his highly anticipated return to New Zealand with his Ego Death World Tour 2022, which will be Rock’s first world tour in 5 years.

Lauded by peers and critics alike, Chris Rock is one of our generation’s strongest comedic voices. He’s quite simply in a class of his own, and as a packed Spark Arena audience will testify from his 2017 show – nothing beats witnessing his genius unfolding in real-time, in a live arena.

New Zealand, get ready to Wiggle! The Wiggles are bringing their brand-new Big Show Tour across the Tasman to the North and South Islands this August!

The world’s most popular children’s entertainment group, The Wiggles will be travelling to Hamilton, Auckland, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill to perform their biggest show yet!

New Zealand’s largest green living and sustainable lifestyle show comes to Christchurch and Hawke’s Bay this August for all those interested in doing their bit to help the planet (which should be everyone!).

The show is incredibly wide-ranging with a diverse array of products on offer and ideas to be shared. From home building and household products to food and beverages, supplements, pet products, gardening products and more – they’ve pretty much got everything covered.

The show will also be in Wellington, Auckland and Tauranga in November.
