When selecting gears, the gear shifter will always return to the central position. To ensure you are in the correct gear you can check the light on the shifter or take a look at the instrument display behind the steering wheel. To put the car in reverse – hold the button on the side of the gear selector and push the gear lever forward to R. To put the car in drive – hold the button on the side of the gear selector and pull the gear level back to D. To put the car in park – press P on the base of the gear selector.
