Following the announcement by the New Zealand Government, as of 11.59PM Sunday 14 February, Auckland has moved to Alert Level 3, while the rest of New Zealand has moved to Alert Level 2. Please continue reading for key information about our updated branch processes.

These changes will be implemented until midnight Wednesday 17 February, the current end date of the restrictions. As the situation evolves, the changes to our operations will be reviewed and revisited dependent on the advice we receive from the government.

Our focus will continue to be on keeping our customers and staff safe and healthy. Our dedication to branch and vehicle cleanliness will ensure we’re doing our bit to keep you, our staff, and the wider community safe.

We understand that these changes in Alert Levels may have impacted your travel plans, so we’ve provided below key information for you to know for planning your next steps.

AUCKLAND BRANCH INFORMATION – ALERT LEVEL 3

Both our Auckland Airport and City branches will remain open. Branch operating hours remain unchanged from 8am – 5pm. After-hours bookings are available as normal from our Auckland Airport branch and details will be provided with your booking confirmation. Thanks to our app-based rental process, we’ve been able to easily reinstate our fully contactless rental process. If for any reason you’re unable to complete an app-based rental process, our team will be more than happy to facilitate your check-in over the phone.

ALL OTHER BRANCHES – ALERT LEVEL 2

Our Wellington, Christchurch, Queenstown and Dunedin branches will remain open and operate as per usual, with the necessary social distancing protocols in place. The branch operating hours remain unchanged, from 8am – 5pm and after-hours services will continue to be available for the applicable branches.  Our app-based, contactless rental process will be available across all of these branches.
