I started off vehicle grooming after finishing University and then had an opportunity to move into a Customer Services role and then into Reservations. Recently I was offered a role as a Web/Data Analyst, and utilise all the skills learnt on the job as well as my own skill-set. On graduating I got offered a full-time role selling the GO brand to consumers all over the world.
I’ve been with GO for just over three years and started as a Vehicle Groomer at the Auckland Airport Branch working through my study break. I needed some work experience so asked if I could help out for 6 weeks in Marketing. On graduating I got offered a full-time role selling the GO brand to consumers all over the world. I started working for GO back in 2001 as a car groomer while here on OE! Within a year I was running our single branch operation in Auckland, almost 13 years on and I’ve been the GM for several years now. I’ve learnt more here than any university could ever have taught me and I’m very grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given to succeed and grow this business.
