GO Rentals joined Enviro-Mark Solutions Ltd to enable efficient and credible footprint calculation, reporting and reductions. Our carboNZero certificationcertTM serves to our goals, including meeting compliance and statutory requirements, identifying reduction opportunities and driving efficiency. We have developed an Emissions Management and Reduction Strategy and take active steps to reduce the amount of energy consumed.
We measure, monitor and report on our greenhouse emissions. Our footprint is externally audited annually under the carboNZero Programme, a carbon emissions management and reduction certification scheme that complies with international best practice including ISO 14064-1 and the GHG Protocol. We target a range of environmental impacts, like waste, health & safety and energy use with a customer plan for continual improvement.
Our carboNZero certification confirms that we are taking credible action to better the environment. We have offset our emissions by purchasing carbon credits in support of Hinewai reserve. Hinewai is an ecological restoration project occupying 1250 hectares on Banks Peninsula, lying east of the town of Akaroa in the South Island of New Zealand. It is privately owned and managed by the Maurice White Native Forest Trust. The primary aim is to foster the natural regeneration of native vegetation and wildlife.
