Holidays should be about recharging and relaxation. To minimise any stress or hassle on your part, we offer comprehensive insurance and 24-hour roadside assistance included in our Total Road Care package for all types of breakdowns.

We have 3 levels of insurance for you to choose from:

• GO Basic - Basic insurance is included as standard. Cost varies depending on vehicle class and the duration of the hire. There will be a bond deposit to pay on pick-up and an excess amount in the unfortunate case of a claim.
• GO Assured - GO Assured allows you to reduce your excess and bond amount. The upgrade fee is an insurance premium and non-refundable. Cost varies depending on vehicle class.
• GO Peace of Mind - From $0 bond and excess. The upgrade fee is an insurance premium and non-refundable. Cost varies depending on vehicle class.

The Pick Up Process

   You can book online or via phone. Our local team will walk you through your itinerary and available cars to hire.

   Before arriving to collect your car, you can check in online for efficient service, but this is optional.

3. 3

   At your pick-up location, our friendly team will check your driver's licence, take any bond payment (dependent on vehicle type and insurance selected), and walk you through your insurance and rental agreement.

   An additional driver can be added to your car rental booking for $15, and they will need to provide their physical driver's licence at pick-up.

   We have a long-standing reputation for clean, well-maintained, great vehicles, and our reviews often mention the excellent condition at pick-up. Our helpful team will give you your keys, show you to your vehicle and walk you through the inspection.

The Drop Off Process

   Before all drop-offs, your car must be filled with petrol or fully charged, so give yourself extra time to return.

2. 2

   Most of our locations offer out-of-hours drop-offs. If returning during office hours, our team will guide you to a parking bay and collect the keys from you. If you are returning out of hours, park in a free, signposted GO Rentals parking bay and put your keys in the dropbox.

3. 3

   Our helpful team will inspect your rental car and confirm if the car is in the same excellent condition. Your bond payment will then be returned to you within 10 days.

Age is just a number with GO Rentals. With no age limit, no medical certificate requirement and no senior car hire fees, it's super easy to rent a car in your 60s, 70s, 80s and further.
